[I want to AGREE with Bnrc73 REGARDING BEING TOLD NOT TO USE SILICONE.
So I'm confused BY Folbak and Sam saying 100% silicone. DICOR website Does NOT identify this suggested 353CSCL product as silicone but as a paintable CAULK.
I would like to try it someday and also the "BIGSTRETCH"
Daryles SUGGESTED.
I HAVE USED ProflexRV with mixed results and impressions that my RV Dealer suggest.
Unable to get that another dealer told me.to pickup LEXEL at Lowes. It came in squeeze tube 5oz. Tube and 10.5oz. caulk tube. FIRST IMPRESSIONS GOOD.
THE clear sealer Montana used on my 2017 on side trim sure appears to be silicone. It rubs off like silicone at edges where thin, but is a bear to remove totally. Also gets that dirty look that I clean by wiping off with thinner.
IMHO I have NO answers but I'm trying the products suggested. So I will soon have an opinion MAYBE.
QUOTE=Foldbak;1254267]Sam got back to me and said use 100% silicone. He wouldn't name a brand.
McNeal here's the clear Dicor
