from what i learnt. The Morryde pin box requires the side to side motion to be locked into place when using a "DEMCO" or a Pullrite Super Glide hitch.
The pin box adapter plates come with all that is necessary to do that lock.
It does allow front to back movement.
I don't know if you order parts for JUST that side to side lock would you still need the adapter plate....
