I have 4 lithium batteries wired in parallel "Diagonaly" as in Hornets 2nd picture above. For this configuration it is important for the battery interconnecting cables to be the same lenght.
As for the wall lay out, picture 1 is from the factory.
Picture 2 is after I installed the lithium batteries, cutoff/selector switch, bus bars, 2000W inverter, 60A DC-DC charger, and a Victron BMV-712 battery monitor.
