Depends on how your basement gets heat. In our old rig there was a duct that ran across the ceiling and I just drilled a few holes in it. The new rig has an exposed duct and a vent space to the furnace so it doesn't need anything more. I am going to rig some 3/4" foam boards over the doors by using some extra lawn chair stretch cord that I have, 4 snap hooks and 4 eye screws someday soon, but it's not a huge priority. It's only got in the 20's here so far.
