May be hard to believe…

It coded again in less than 25 miles. The second time I took it in for the P218F code they flashed the truck. Said they had found something suggesting that flashing the truck would correct the problem, only it didn't. The third time they replaced the injector (~450 dollars). It coded again within 10 miles. The shop just can't seem to figure out what is going on.

Has anyone out there with ~2109 Cummins experienced this code. If you have can you tell me what was done to correct it. The shop is now talking about changing the pump (~850 dollars). The shop is now in the mode in which they change parts until they accidentally stumble upon the cause. There's got to be a better way.

Ideas anyone?
I swear I’m not making this up… when my 2018 Cummins threw the code, they inspected the system, found everything was functioning properly, and eventually cured the problem with a software update. Just throwing it out there…
