haven't used a truck stop but we used the rest areas out to Zion and back, didnt see a problem with passing the line, plus with our unit we need to put the kitchen slide out about 2' to enter the kitchen for making lunch. strategic planning on picking the right lane to park and stopping after 1pm to beat crowds worked well
