I would not touch it. If you have a brand new unit this should be properly addressed in a warranty claim. If you do anything to the roof they could use that against you to void the warranty…so in my opinion - don’t touch it…no screws…no nothing.

The screen shot below is from a YouTube video Home With The Hoopers Keystone Montana Factory tour. This section of the video might give you a better idea of how the roof is put together - albeit this is from a 2019 model.

Search for that video and watch the roof construction at approx minute 10 to minute 12 or so.
