I have a 2022 331 RL and the only schwintek slide is the bedroom slide. The 2 slides in main area are both rack and pinion. I believe in 2022 they have given up cable slides.
I have heard from several reputable sources that the schwintek slides are reliable if used in the right application which is lighter slides like a bed slide. Also critical that they are opened and closed fully.
