We average 60-90 nights a year. We have payed over $100 a night for the right campground in the right place but also boondock for $0 a night. We like going different places seeing new things and typically don't stay in the same place for much more than a week at a time. We typically do a long summer trip of 4-8 weeks and then several week long trips later in the year. Our rig never sits very long and we chase good weather to minimize the need for a/c or winterizing the rig. They have wheels for a reason.

I have a Golden Access Passport and find many of the federal parks give you a fairly small discount using it. We also use some of the military campgrounds.
