Our first Sleep number back in 2008, we traveled thru the rockies, did no damage, however the aid bags did inflate. Got lucky I guess. From them on we deflated, never had any issues. We have Sleep number's in all three bedrooms in out Log House. We put Sleep number in the 2021 Montana 3762BP, and cut down the King to a Queens. Works great for us!
Happy trails.
