This is an issue in our trailer. I open the control panel door to turn on lights, check the convenience center readout, etc. Then walk away to check on whatever item I needed to open the door for. It never fails that my wife then walks up the stairs and hits her head on the open door. I then hear a tirade on why I can't figure out how to keep the door closed... Based on this post, I'm going to go look for a self-closing hinge.
