Mine is installed pre turbo and I was told 1250 degrees should be the max I allow. I have heard the temps will vary quite a bit from truck to truck depending on which code the computer has been programmed with. Fortunately, mine runs rather cool and I rarely have to back off the throttle to stay under 1250 degrees.
