Hello Scott,

I believe the space you are referring to is where they located the Super Solar aluminum box originally. I have moved the two batteries inside that box to the rear of my unit so now have all four together under the rear couch. I could have mounted the two new batteries on top of the SSF box up front but did not want the additional pin weight. I have run two pairs of 4/0 lines up the inverter to minimize the voltage drop and am pretty happy with the result.

My latest upgrade was to add two Carlo Gavazzi EM112 energy meters to monitor the 120VAC consumption on both lines 1& 2 to the breaker box. This data is sent to my R-Pi (which serves as a Cerbo GX) to be logged with all the 12VDC data. I can now see exactly how much AC current is being drawn by any appliance. For example, I wanted to know how much one A/C unit cycled the compressor over night with temps in the 70’s.
