It doesn't help the ride at all. Air bags are adjustable on the fly You don't need them for the front. There is enough weight over the front wheels but in the back the bags work with the shocks to soften the ride a bit. You will like them for leveling out the truck when hitched up. Helps put the headlights back on the road instead of shining in the trees.
