Different answer than what you’re looking for…
I do not have a washer/dryer, although the RV is plumbed for it/them. I honestly cannot see us ever installing them. My reasoning is primarily cost. A side by side set up costs around $1600.00. Campground laundries average about $3.00 a load, total, for wash and dry. (I’m taking into account that a lot of military campgrounds have free laundry.)
I can do two loads of laundry a week, at a campground, at the same time in 2 hours or less for $6.00.
At that rate, it would take 5 years to reach that $1600.00 initial purchase price.
Now if the next RV I purchase came with a washer and dryer, I wouldn’t say no.
