Bolt on is fine especially for the light load you have. If there is any excessive bouncing there is a U bolt type device that firms up the connection from the rack to the receiver. There is no significant difference between what is shaken on a bike rack or the contents inside the rear of the trailer. Afterall, the two are only a couple feet apart.
