Dave W ... I hope your street rod's brake lines weren't made with the Rigid 37 degree flaring tool. You really need double flares on any brake line ... OEM uses double flares for a reason. Look at what kind of flare is on pre-made brake lines you buy at an auto parts store. If they used stainless line ... it's near impossible to double flare with a hand tool. If your Rigid tool has the double flare adaptor ... disregard my concern. What I'm saying here for others is ... a single flare on your fivers brake lines if you are doing a conversion is not a wise choice.
