#2 diesel is also the same as #2 home heating fuel. Between the winter blend plus the folks with diesel fuel furnaces up North for their S&B creating extra demand, our truck fuel always goes up this time of year. This year the upward tick in prices is way beyond the norm, but then again so is the cost of most everything else now days. Made a business trip from northeast Texas to southern Louisiana and back Monday. Local to us fuel prices went up 10 cents a gallon between the time we left and when we got back home. Going to be hard to budget when prices of nearly everything going up.
