I would either put red axle grease on the lower part of the ladder or get a
Duke Coon Trap. Make sure to secure it in a vertical position tightly and connect the chain to something very secure like an iron fence post for barbed wire driven fairly deep. Fill it with black oil sunflower seed. At my house we use sub-sonic 75gr JHP .223 through a suppressed 10.5" Sig (Hollywood quiet).
