My understanding is the early version was collapsing. Anderson has upgraded the product. I just purchased a pair to see if I like them and (YES) I do! A one person operation quick and easy! Reducing 8" of landing leg stroke improving the stability of the trailer I could do the same thing with an cut piece of 8x10 lumber. This is so much less redneck
