Frank, your pump should be located pretty close behind the convenience center panel. You can remove the panel in the basement pass through to get to it. It's odd that the pump would be the problem, but I have read about a check valve on these pumps that has a tendency to go bad. Assuming that's the case, it could have lost prime and you would need to raise the jug of pink stuff to let gravity help it in until it gets prime again.
