I relocated my jacks up, I believe 3 holes, as I too thought they were close to the ground, especially the ones aft of the axles. For me it was done by the selling dealer as I was fortunate to catch it upon delivery, Camping World (not the wanted $400+, without any calibration offers

I did not need to recalibrate anything; however I did purchase the Andersen jack blocks and very highly recommend them. Here is a link where I bought them on Amazon. They are pricey, but they are very well made, and extremely easy to use.
