If plugged in to shore power, batteries should be more than 12.4. That is only 80%.
Outside chance you may have a bad battery or two. I am familiar with off-gassing of bad batteries causing CO detectors to sound in cruising size boats.
You should be able to google that. Never heard of it happening in an RV, but I’m sure it could. Just a thought, Good luck.
