We had that problem with our Shwintek slide. My husband figured out the controller was good, so we bought new wiring harness. He didn't have a chance to try that before he had emergency surgery. While in the hospital, I called a mobile tech and they figured out the rod/pin that runs between the bottom gears and the top gears had dropped. They ended up installing new H frame on both sides (when you replace one you have to replace other side). Works perfectly now.
