My 3075RL was lighter than most and I could run Michelin XPS Ribs. Michelin said inspect yearly at 5 years and replace at 10 years. I replaced at 9 years and about 20,000 miles still looking nearly new. Never even a low tire. And that was routinely running in 100+ temps at 70 mph for long stretches at a time.
I would believe the manufacturer before a tech wanting to sell new tires.
