I believe that is correct, it is a 3 prong plug, not the 4 prong like the one I'm hooking up to my shop here on the ranch from the generator to the 220v panel. Nevertheless, this is very good advice, it never occurred to me to compare the new cable with the short cable that came with the RV. I'll check it before plugging it into shore power.
