I have a 2014 3402rl. You should be able to tell if the compressor is running by simply listening to it. What I have done to improve the cooling in our 3204rl is as follows: clean everything you can access that has to do with ac both inside and on the roof, next, remove the celling return vents in the rl area, then use 1 1/4" pvc pipe in the longest sections that you can push up into the return ducks to open them up. I replaced the the 4x10 filters with 6x12 filter frames and home type filters. I also put the pvc pipe in the bedroom duct as the ductwork front to back is tied together. If you partially close off the front a.c. vent it will force more air from the front a.c. to the back of the rv. Hope some of these suggestions help.
