Hi Tim,
Because it only does one Satellite at a time (moves to all three satellites on demand from Satellite receiver), dual turner receivers don't work very well.
I bought a VIP-211K, and hooked up a USB disk drive to turn it into a DVR. The VIP-211K will also record Off-Air programming if it has a USB disk drive hooked up.
