Bridges around the SE do not specify 'trucks'. They state 'weight limit XX tons'. No matter the license endorsement many or most have no clue of the weight of their rig. Federal regs require semi drivers to pass a test for their CDL. How can they pass when many today cannot read English and have limited ability to speak English? Even those that can cause problems. Go to 11'8.com and watch hundreds of trucks and a few campers hit that bridge ~ commercial CDL drivers mostly. Search for 'semi trucks sink bridge' for a sample of pics like this.
