When I installed the new Samsung frig I chose not to hook up the ice maker since it was going to be a task and a half to plumb a line into the slide and to make sure it was flexible and won't get pinched.
This also reduces the energy used while boondocking.
I am figuring since the freezer portion is at -2 we can make ice just as fast and dump the cubes in the bin
