Silverton at 9300 feet was still cold but was sunny last week. We left Durango on Thursday and got snow flurries while going over to Mancos at 7000 feet. We heard cold weather was coming as we traveled through Cortez on Saturday, the day was beautiful with an added bonus of watching a rancher moving cattle herd on Hwy 160 which made for an interesting unscheduled "rest stop".
Casa Grande during day time is about to go above 100 so we will soon be heading east.
