I'm not at the rally but we've camped there a few times over the last 35 years and yes that is one very busy railroad. But it is not the worst. The trains just come through all hours of the night when trying to sleep which makes it seem like it's the worst.
They blow their horns right there at the campground because there is a signal there for them to do that as they are approaching a road intersection just beyond the campground (East Monroe street).
