I have read of people skirting their rig in winter. Probably the best way to save on fuel costs.
Here is a picture of one. He also covered the slide roof and walls with styrofoam board. Looks like he made a cut out for the slide window and taped heavy gauge clear vinyl over his windows.
If you go this route, make the roof styrofoam long enough to overlap the side styrofoam. Then the side styrofoam long enough to overlap the bottom styrofoam. That way it will shed the rain off properly.
