First time 5th wheel/Montana owner
Just bought a 2016 Montana 3000RC with plans to hit festivals and travel west over the next year. After searching a year, this one had everything we wanted and we fell in love with it. Drove 5 hours to pick it up, had a blowout on the trip home in the middle of the night. (It had 2 original tires, 2 newer ones, but had been sitting for quite a while.) Destroyed the fender skirt on that side (which has 2 pieces due to the slide). So now the search in on to find a replacement. I've been reading on the forum almost daily trying to figure out how to resolve some issues we've discovered upon getting it home. The slide on the passenger side has no power in it. The slide works, but none of the plug ins or lights do. Came here today to discover no wiring diagram exists. Hubs is trying to track it down, but it appears the wiring to it is missing entirely. The box on the wall when you enter has an empty slot in the 4th spot over. He and his brother (who have worked on every camper/motor home we've ever had) determined it should be in that slot. Now to figure out what to do next.

Replacement fenders are available from a couple of places. Montana (via dealer) may still have some 2016 fenders. There is an aftermarket company that sells fenders. I can't remember the name but a Search here should find them.

Yup no wiring diagrams exist but lots of experience. There should be 120V AC plugs and a 120V light along with a 12V DC light in the passenger slide out. There is a box under the corpplast where they transition from Romex in the RV to flex cable to the slide out. Additionally another box in the rear corner of the slide out where the flex goes back to Romex. Check those boxes. The one under the coroplast is known to get wet and cause problems.

It is very unlikely Montana omitted the circuit to the slide. Having an empty slot in the breaker panel is not unusual. Can you post a picture of the circuit breaker box (with the labels)????

Welcome to the forums and sorry to hear you are starting out with your new camper so rough. Hang in there though. You sound like you have prior RVing experience and have the skills for trouble shooting and making repairs yourself. You will get it all fixed up and in dandy shape!
About that fender? When you find the fender that matches the dimensions of your camper, don't get hung up on the color of the fender. If you find a white one and your original is dark brown or black, you can always spray paint the new one to match. Keeping this in mind will not limit you so much.
Paint the fender with Rust-o-lium Professional or Rust-o-lium high heat and the paint will last forever on vinyl and plastics. It is oil based, not water solvent. But it does work very, very well with non-metal parts on the camper.

Thank you! I'll get a picture the next time I'm in it.

For tires, if you have G rates tires, Sailun have a very good reputation. You need rims rated for 110psi to run G rated tires. Look for a stamp on the inboard side of the rim.
