NAFR 2024 What's a must or a favorite place to go...

Let's start a list of favorite places to visit!

Add that special place you alway go to, when you're attending the rally or visiting the area.

There is so much to do, see, eat, bike... I think this list could be quite long!

The Menno-Hof Museum - we learned so much about the Amish-Mennonite story!

So many choices. Second votes for just simply driving the countryside and the RV Museum in Elkhart!!

Blue Gate cafe in Shipshewana and Bontragers. I need to find out more about the RV museum and bike trail though. Appears we are missing out on some great opportunities.

Don't forget Rise n Roll bakery. They make the best Amish crack

Cbrez the RV Museum (aka RV Hall of Fame) is a definite must if you have the time. https://www.rvmhhalloffame.org/

Thanks very much for the museum link. Looks like something Diane and I would love to do. Will definitely make time to visit during NAFR24.

The last 2 years there has been a Notre Dame Football game at the end of the rally so we've gone. This years schedule is the first Saturday so no game for us this year since it's the night of the social but I'm sure we will make a run to the bookstore for more ND gear. A close second is Rise and Roll Bakery for some Amish crack.

The Elkhart County Heritage Trail has a 90 mile driving tour that is absolutely a must-do. You can stream the tour right into your vehicle or connected device. It gives turn-by-turn directions and a great narrative along the way. It's best to do it on a weekday when everything is open in the small towns it passes through. You can pause it at any point to explore on foot.
