2025 3915TB Pickup This Week?

In theory we will finally get our new 2025 3915TB this week. Been on order since June. Ordered it sight unseen cause in theory it had everything we wanted.

The dealer had ordered 2 more at the same time as ours. One of those has showed up and we went and looked at it. Very happy with everything except what Keystone/Montana did in the master bedroom.

For some reason they have decided to remove the shelves above the windows and more importantly removed the outlets above the headboard on both sides.

This might not be a big deal for some but between phone charging and more importantly CPAP machines I've got to figure out how to get power back up there.

I know lots of people applauded them when they started putting those shelves and outlets up there....why in the world would they now remove them?

That's a good question. I wouldn't accept it! This is where keystone has to step in and take responsibility. The 3D walk through clearly shows the inverted outlets and shelves. I'd call the dealership today and speak to the GM or sales manager. Bypass service.

Normally that's where I would have started.... problems mine is a 2025 model and they only have info on their 2024 models online. Most likely there would shut down my question by simply saying 2025 change oh well.

I can add the shelf...my dealer is looking at what it would take to put outlets up there.

I call BS! Your dealer is looking at you as a cash cow. He's taking advantage of you. Considering the demographics of 100K fifth wheel owners, sleep apnee hasn't been cured so why would they eliminate the shelves? Question, what package did you get? The new models come with solar but there are different packages. The 200 is the smallest and is dedicated to a residential fridge. The 400 has up to 7 inverted outlets. I could see how the outlet isn't inverted but not eliminated.

On occasion they have a supply chain problem and don't have the components and have to makes adjustments. But, let's assume they don't have the brackets to make the shelves, that doesn't make it right to just eliminate them. Again, if it were me I'd make Keystone make it right.

In reality, those shelves haven't been ideal for CPAP since they raised them beyond the edge of the bed a few years ago. Most will agree that CPAP machines should be at bed level or lower to prevent the the machine falling on you, or worse yet, moisture build-up in the tubing and mask.

I have what I assume will be a "2025" 3231CK arriving, hopefully this week, that has the same bedroom set-up. I'll let you know what we get.

I was already planning to install some type of bed-level shelves for my phone, glasses, etc. In my 2020 model, 120V and 12V power comes up through the bed base. If I need power, I'll do the same - up through the floor inside the bed base, then to an outlet on each side of the bed base.

I was thinking the same thing. Been on CPAP for over 30 years now. You really don't want the machine above the level of the bed if you use a humidifier. I've nearly drowned several times over the years even with heated tubing.

RW, for what it's worth - here's the wiring that comes up inside the bed base. One of the white wires is 12V for the USB outlets and reading lights. The other - with the connectors - is the 120V for the outlets. These connectors are fastened to the floor and the movable frame allowing enough slack for the slide to move back and forth. There are also two black Schwintek motor wires that are attached to the sidewall and don't move with the slide.

My CPAP is on that shelf. It's there while in transit. It would take a lot to pull it off because of the lip. I would hate for it to fall onto my head.

The bedrooms in the 2025 models are supposed to have fold down shelves on each side. They fold down to makle it easier to make the bed

If anyone can get a picture of the 2025 folding shelf and post it? I'm still trying to find a shelf for my wife that's not above the window. My 17 had the bed level shelf. Thanks.

Never mind about the photo, just seen the video from Jonesin2go that had the updates for 25.

Kind of a small shelf, but wish I could buy it and attach it myself.

RW,
Finally picked up our new 3231CK last week. And, it has the high shelves and outlets just as the picture Tony posted. It's exactly the same, right down to the decorative pillows! The only change I see from the 2020 model is the USB outlet now accepts both A and C type, and both AC outlets are inverted.

Have you seen your new unit yet?
