Hot water in shower but not sinks

Hello! First time posting here but I read from time to time.

I have a 2016 High Country and can't get hot water to either of the sinks but the shower hot water is hot. There's plenty of pressure at both sinks using the hot side only. It's the original 10gallon tank style.

If all the faucets were affected, I would try the check valve, thermostat, fuses, etc... but with one working, I'm not sure what to look for now. All the search results I've seen talk about the opposite, hot water at the sinks but not the shower. Where should I start?

Edit: Model HM305RL
Everything worked a week ago.

With high output on the hot water side of the faucet in the sink, can it be the water heater is a long distance away and it takes a while for the hot water to make it to the faucet?
What model/floor plan do you have? It seems unlikely the faucet is the problem (only delivering cold water) but you can remove the hot water line from under the sink and run water to ensure hot water is making it to the faucet area.

Model is HM305RL
It's not a distance thing - I've left the faucets running a while and nothing. I thought maybe a faucet issue but it's both the kitchen and bathroom. Two failing at the same time would be unlikely. The lines directly under the sinks aren't warming up.

Ah ha, by both sinks, you meant the kitchen and the bathroom. But you have hot water at the shower. Then forget what I wrote before.

You will have to open the back wall of the pass through compartment and find the hot water line (should be red Pex) going to the shower. There is hot water there. Then trace the line to see where the cold water line runs and how it was connected to the hot water line feed the sinks.Something is definitely wrong with the plumbing. Unfortunately, it is up to you to find it lacking any published plumbing diagrams.

Late to the game here. I have the same rig, only a 2017. I have been in the plumbing many times. I don’t see how this condition is possible unless someone has modified the plumbing, but here we are. Have you checked the water heater bypass valve? Maybe it is partially closed or failing in some way.

What kind of faucet/mixing valve, do you have at each location?
IF one of the faucets is a single handle device, could it be possible it failed internally and is mixing the cold water into the hot pipe?
