Looking for king bedspread?

We have the Venetian Gold interior with the solid green bedspread. We need a king sized one. We upgraded from a queen to a king bed, but the king bedspread was WAY too high priced. If anyone is downsizing from the king to a queen green and still has the king one, we would like to buy from them.

We have a king size bed as well and I ran into the same problem. However I found a duvet cover at Bed Bath and Beyond and with a coupon paid around $60.00,found one for a lot less but did not go with the decor and later filled it with a very inexpensive comforter(sp).

Thanks, Dorothy! $60 is a lot cheaper than the $150 the Keystone wanted. I will tell Cheryl. Still would be better to get the same decor king, though, I guess. Although that's not MY decision, if you know what I mean.

I was able to find a duvet that matched one of the accent colors and looks pretty good. I did keep the original pillows but may change them out as well.
Hope you find what you want.

Roy, is the decor green or gold? Keystone started the Venetian decor with a green bedspread (ours), then apparently changed to a gold colored bedspread and pillow sham scheme. When we ordered a new king spread to fit our new king bed a few weeks after we took delivery of our 3400 in July 2006, they sent us a pale gold spread.

We were confused. This did not match our shams or other green colored decor in our Venetian bedroom. We called and asked Keystone what was up with this and they told us that this new color was the Venetian Gold spread. We sent it back. Didn't match.

Try the outlet stores if you have any near you. We picked up a king quilt/spread for $40. It was at the Springmaid/Wamsutta store. We also found sheets etc at another store for $30, 300 count. Bath mat for toilet area $2.50.

I guess we will have to look into your suggestions above. We have already tried that a little, but have found nothing that comes close to matching yet. Also mudding up the water is the fact that king spreads are not quite as easy to find as queens. Really wanted to see if we could stay with the OEM stuff. Might not be possible.
