Slow sink drain

We have a slow drain in the kitchen sink did all the usual stuff but when we take the vent off the water drains when the vent isput back on it doesn’t any ifeas

It sounds like the vent device has failed. They are relatively inexpensive to replace.
You can find replacements at Lowe's, Home Depot or Amazon.
Just search for "Air Admittance Valve". Lots of options.
