TST 507 Hi and Lo pressure settings
Just checking the general wisdom. I just upgraded to this TPMS and am setting it up. The directions call for a 20% over for hi and 10% under for low alarm settings. Is that pretty much where everyone sets them?
ex: Sailun G's at 110psi. Low = 99, Hi = 132.

I've had the TST-507 for about 1-1/2yrs and set it up as per their instructions. Zero issues.

You might have to adjust the Hi Limit depending on how your tires run. I have "Hs" and run at 125, travel in mid 90s caused my pressure to just hit 150 with gave the alarm, so moved it up another 5 degrees and been fine. Haven't had any issue with the Low Limit setting.

I don't have the 110 psi tires - still 80. I have trouble in the mountains with the low setting. I think it was 72, and on some mornings the tires are at 70 or 71. I think I lowered it a couple last year.

I set up ours to 100 psi for the low pressure and just left the high pressure at the preset 175 psi. I set the low at the 100 psi because we run our Sailuns at 110 psi, and just left the temperature alone at the preset 158 degrees. I read an article by Roger Marble who said the temperature detection on any of these sensors can not accurately measure the temperatures at the locations inside the tires where it is most critical, but looking at comparisons between the tires is about the only thing you can monitor.

Thanks, all, sounds like the settings are mostly based on "ish" calculations. Sticking with the OEM recommendations is a good place to start.
