just upgraded from 2012 montana 295rlt to 2020 331 high country fresh water and grey water tanks lights do not change from empty when filling, black water works. dealer says to flush and clean no help on grey did not put cleaner in fresh tank. David

David, if those lights work past (or even on) your first trip it is a miracle. You can read every forum and see this question asked. We have gone to SeaLevel gages and they work great. Any RV shop can install or you can do it yourself. We have done it both ways. On our current 2021, we had the dealer install when we purchased it. They are a little over $200 and you can use the existing wiring. The system consists of circuit board sensors that attach to the outside of your tanks. The panel mounts wherever you want it, but because the wires terminate there it is best using the same location.

The grey and black tank lights not working correctly is a common problem. But the fresh water tank sensor historically has not been a problem, particularly when new. Definitely take it back and demand they check it out and fix it. It sounds like some wires are not connected properly.
