Exterior trim under slide
I have a 2020 3120 and the rubber for the black trim piece under the bedroom slide has either shrunk a bit or it was pulled too tight when installed and it pulled the screw out of its hole and stripped the hole. This black plastic trim does not fit into an aluminum frame, but instead goes over another rubber piece that has kind-of a U shape and the top piece fits over the top and bottom of the flanges of the U. Also, the U shaped bottom part is attached to the rig with staples. My questions are has anyone else had this issue and repaired it? If so, please describe the repair. If you bought a new trim piece, what is it called and where did you get it? The screw that came out is self-tapping, so not sure if the frame around the slide is wood or metal. Not sure if, after filling the stripped screw hole with putty if I should just pull the trim piece tight and reinstall the screw, or just use some washers to grab the edge of the trim piece and using some Geocel to fill any voids. TIA for any advise!
Please note the pics are upside down :-(
