ONAN 5500 or 6500??

H. John Kohl Montana Master Join Date: May 2003 Location: New Bern Posts: 4,294 M.O.C. #311	ONAN 5500 or 6500?? I am generator prepped and am looking at either the ONAN 5500 and 6500. 5500 - 45.8 amps (1) 30A and (1) 20A breaker $3,332.00 6500 - 54.2 amps (2) 30A breakers $4,628.00 The 6500 is 10 lbs heavier. Now do I need the 6500 for an additional $1,300.00 roughly? Ok let me have it (your thoughts) Thanks and safe towing
