Goodyear Marathon

Just returning from a trip to FL. on RT.95 and had a blow out on the Goodyear Marathon tire on our 2011 Montana 3455SA. It was a rear tire driver side and showed low pressure on the Pressure Pro.We stopped as soon as we could and checked the tire.The tire had the tread just about off and the sides blown out.WE took the tire to a Goodyear dealer and he said he couldn't pro rate because it was out of warranty(tire marking three years old). The dealer said he could not find any punctures in the casing but it was out of warranty. I had him put a new tire on the rim and paid $193.00 and took the wheel back to the camper.I e-mailed Goodyear and they said the tires are under warranty for 6 Years and have the dealer call them, he wouldn't so they called him.They (Goodyear) called back in a couple minutes and said he looked at the casing and there was a puncture Yet he couldn't find one before.Goodyear said that was the end of the story. The moral of the story is be careful who you deal with and be careful of Goodyear Marathon tires.
