Duct Tape Adhesive Removal

Owing to the Covid related US/Canada border closure, all of us Canadian full-timers will be staying home this winter. In preparation for same I decided to purchase a roll of 48 inch double bubble foil insulation to skirt my 5th wheel. I plan on using duct tape to attach it to my Monty and then multiple sand bags to keep it in contact with the ground. My concern is with removal of the tape come spring.
I have read elsewhere that WD-40, GooGone, even mayonnaise will do the trick if plastic razor blades are used. Will any deterioration occur to the gelcoat finish? Any help or suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.
