Pullrite #2900 hitch questions

Just picked up a #2900 Superglide hitch. Have a couple questions. I have read the owners manual but need some clarifications.

1. Manual says in 11/2009 Pullrite changed to plastic wear tabs. How can I find the age of the hitch I purchased, I do not see a serial number on the hitch if there is one?

2. Manual says use light oil (WD40 - 3in1) oil to lubricate. My hitch has some heavy grease applied liberally all over it. Should I remove all this old grease and start over?

3. I will be ordering a new capture plate, the hitch I purchased cam with one, but I can find no markings to determine if it is the correct one for my 19 High Country 331rl

I am moving from a Reese Manual Slide Pro 15k

Any help with the questions would be appreciated
