Add Outlet to Inverted Circuits

I want to make the outlet in my basement storage work off the inverter. We have a fridge/freezer on a tray in the basement storage and I want the outlet in there to work while we are on the road. Where would I find the bus bar or circuits that are currently running off the inverter? Can I double up one of those circuits or do I have to move a current inverted outlet to the source that feeds the outlet in the basement when I move the basement outlet to the inverter ? Thanks for any guidance. K2

Depends.....On where your inverter is. Mine is in the basement on the front bulkhead so I just wired in an outlet to run my Portable Freezer on my tray.
If you can find where the AC output is on your inverter you could tap in there somewhere.

Is your basement prepped for a TV. If so it should have an inverted outlet.

Yes the plug is right next to the tv cable connection but it isn’t marked inverted outlet. That is the outlet I wanted to move to the inverted circuits. Thanks for the reply I will check it out. K2

I don't know if they still use this little 20A transfer switch in the newer units, but this is what came with the 2000W inverter for switching those outlets between shore and inverted power. It was plugged into the inverter. You can probably trace circuits from here and add a small junction box to wire nut things into.

If you want to go nuts and have all the outlets on the inverter, you can do what I did here (2018 version).

The new version has the two ACs added when I replaced the 2000W inverter with a 3000W hybrid a couple years ago.

We have four 300ah LiFePo4 batteries and two inverters to run the whole house. It will run the AC, but only for a few hours
