Huge critter opening
I had taken the carpeted wall off next to the wet bay in my garage to prep for some electrical upgrades. Sitting there working on my plan I noticed a huge hole from the supposedly heated part of the RV to the outside world. About 6”x10”. Won’t even start on why the heck they do crap like this. Was thinking about putting some galvanized expanded metal mesh and screw it to the fascia then spraying some rodent resistant expanding foam on it to seal and protect the 2 gas lines going through the hole. My question is does anyone know of a reliable rodent resistant expanding foam?
Thoughts?

I have the same hole on our 2019 3121RL. I made a piece of wood and covered the gap behind the wet bay at floor level. Would like to do better repair if someone comes up with better plan

I used hardware cloth; not sure how much good it does, but I have not had any rodents.
Never heard of rodent resistant foam, but sounds like something I would be interested in.

I just finished closing ALL the holes in the bottom of the J-Channel skirt. I made templates with cardboard then used them to make covers from aluminum trim flashing.
I'll go back and use foam to seal up the remaining gaps. Hopefully it will help keep drafts out and the rig warmer.

I covered that spot, as well as some others with some perforated aluminum sheet I had laying around and then foamed over it with pest block.
Also, don’t forget about those big openings for the hydraulic rams.

You can buy the cheap plastic mud flaps and cut to fit any large openings.Keep putting fresh dryer sheets or zest soap in areas where critters could get..If they're around they'll find a way in,but they don't like any strong smells. We've found that the cheapest, strongest hot sauce works on wiring they may want to chew. But it's messy
