I would like to tow my motorcycle behind my Montana. I have an a lite aluminum trailer to use. Has anyone towed there motorcycle with their Montana? Hate to buy a toy hauler. I know there is a lot of bounce but I hope it will be okay. I also know it is illegal to tow in certain states.
Thank you
I have not personally done it but routinely see it in AZ and UT with boat and ATV trailers. May need to upgrade your bumper/hitch depending upon weight.
Potential for frame warranty claim issue but unlikely to have a problem.

I have a friend that pulls his Harley. He doesn't have any problems. The hitch is rated at 3000 lbs. His trailer is lightweight. So he's around 1200 lbs. My wife won't let me pull mine.

That requires modification to the receiver and I already have a trailer
DW58 can connect to your 2" receiver with no modification. The Singlewheel can also connect without mods.
The DW58 uses an adapter to allow the Swivelwheel to move and articulate independent of the Montana.

I found the link. Anything over 600# needs a dual receiver.
I tow an aluminum trailer with our golf cart behind our 2019 3120RL since purchased new. I did have the hitch beefed up at a welding shop as the factory welds for the hitch were not up to my standards. Longest trip Baltimore to St Louis no problem at all, tow thru the mountains all the time. Average tow speeds 70 ton 75, make sure the tires are up to the task, check speed rating on the tires. At all speeds the trailer tracks great, don't know its back there. Installed a rear camera as you cannot see the trailer without it. Backing can be a challenge but not impossible. Have not yet had to unhook to back up but is why I bought a lightweight trailer. Also did not want a toy hauler and this has worked great so far, I would do it again!
I have towed behind a Montana for ten plus years, never had a problem. You should reinforced your hitch. Don't trust those welds. I reinforced mine with angle iron bolted to the frame. I have towed a boat and have towed Harley in a 12 foot enclosed trailer from Oklahoma to Colorado. Google Double towing with an rv and you will learn alot. There are length limits and not all states have double towing. Not leagle in any east coast states or Alabama or Florida. Just have to pay attention to what you are doing and where you get fuel. Truck stops are your friend.

I’ve done likewise as Carv. Since the 2nd aluminum cargo trailer had electric brakes, I installed a 7 way plug-in for the 2nd trailer. I used a Curt 51180 Echo mobile brake controller to regulate the braking effort of the 2nd trailer’s brakes.
