Lug nut torque
I have a 2015 Montana 3791Rd.
I would like to know what is the recommended torque for the lug nuts.
Wheel and rim size are ST235/80R16

Thanks for the information CalandLinda & prndl
That a lot of torque for those lug nuts.
I had to call over my mechanic with a professional torque wrench we were able to torque the nuts down to 140 lb. again thank you guys for the information. My next post will be about my new SAILUN TIRES I just put on.

The torque on the 1/2" lug nuts for your rig is 120 ft lbs, not 140 ft lbs. The 140 to 150 ft lbs torque spec is for rigs that have 9/16" studs, and torquing 1/2" lug nuts too high will possibly cause studs to break.

yes you are correct rohrmann 120 ft lbs for the 1/2" lug nuts I read the specs wrong when I posted 140 lb of torque
I called my mechanics he assured me the Lug nuts are torqued at 120 lbs.
That was my mistake when I posted 140 lbs It's should be 120 lbs like rohrmann said
Thank you Rohrmann for the correct information.

I bought a torgue wrench set at Walmart. I check trailer and truck about every week on the road. Surprise, often 1 or 2 are below recommended torgue - especially the trailer.
110 - 120 is the trailer, 140 for my GMC.

Wheel nut torque specs
For all who need the info about the torque spec for the lug nuts. This is torque according to the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 owner manual page 5-103 CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS; 100FT LB or 140 Nm. All the informations that needed is on this owner manual specially on fluids & spark plugs gaps.

Tito: I see you are a new member. Welcome!!!
I am not sure you realized this is a Montana RV group and not a Pontiac Montana automobile one.
